Do good.

Every summer, evergreen church leaves the building and gathers together to spend several days focused on unity and community. We head out to our neighborhoods to serve others in a tangible way. Browse through this site to see what we did, and make sure to mark your calendars for 2020!

On the first day of MTOC, I stopped by Veterans Memorial Park to snap a few photos and video of a team handing out freezies and praying for people. It was almost time to head back to the church for dinner but I thought I would stop by quick to see what was going on. I’m so glad I did because I got to witness Selah Schelkoph lead a little boy to Christ! When I arrived, I saw her and the boy sitting on a rock while she was taking him through the tab Bible. They talked for about 15-20 minutes and then she led him in prayer and he came to Christ! It was awesome and inspiring to see Selah’s boldness in sharing her faith at such a young age. Afterwards, she was so excited for what had just happened!
